NEWS
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Antonio Bryant still hasn’t practiced and could be in danger of being placed on injured reserve.
Bryant signed a four-year, $28 million contract in the offseason but has been bothered by pain in his knee.
His knee problems were the reason the team elected to take a chance on wide receiver Terrell Owens.
If Bryant does not make any progress over the next couple of weeks, he could be placed on injured reserve. ( Read More…)

Cincinnati Bengals safety Gibril Wilson will miss the entire season after ACL and MCL against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wilson was supposed to be the team’s top backup at safety after signing a one-year contract in the offseason.
Over the past five seasons, Wilson averaged 105 tackles per year while playing for three different teams.
It’s not a devastating loss for the Bengals, but one that will certainly hurt from a depth perspective. ( Read More…)

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has no problem dealing with the egos of his wide receivers.
Palmer prefers to stay out of the spotlight and is plenty happy to let Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens bask in it.
The quarterback said he doesn’t have trouble dealing with big ego’s in the locker room, which is one reason why he was so supportive of signing Owens.
He said that having Owens on the field is going to give his offense a chance to make more big plays in the passing game. ( Read More…)

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed veteran wide receiver Terrell Owens to a one-year contract.
This is sure to make wideout Chad Ocho Cinco happy, as he has been lobbying for the team to sign Owens.
Owens considered the Bengals his first choice so that he could play with his good friend, Ocho Cinco.
Ironically, each player has his own reality show on VH1 and they come on right after each other. ( Read More…)

The Cincinnati Bengals are concerned about the knee of veteran wide receiver Antonio Bryant.
He was only able to play in 11 games last year because of two knee injuries and might not be healthy for training camp.
His knee issues are the reason for the sudden interest once again in veteran free agent Terrell Owens.
Owens has worked out with Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer recently and was impressive. ( Read More…)

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer said he is impressed with free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens.
The Bengals have really ramped up negotiations with Owens and are hopeful that they can sign the wide receiver in the next few days.
The team had significant interest in signing Owens earlier in the offseason but was able to land Antonio Bryant instead, ending any hope T.O. had of landing in Cincy.
For whatever reason, the Bengals are once again entertaining the thought of adding Owens. They have had success with troubled players in the past, but Owens is a different breed. ( Read More…)

Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson is set to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Benson was arrested and charged with assault this offseason after allegedly bunching a bartender.
The running back has been in legal trouble before, although many hope this is just an isolated incident.
Head coach Marvin Lewis said he doesn’t believe that Benson will be suspended over the incident. ( Read More…)

The Cincinnati Bengals have been very impressed with what they have seen out of rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham so far.
Quarterback Carson Palmer questions whether Gresham even has a weakness in his game.
He went on to say that the tight end obviously doesn’t understand all aspects of the offense quite yet, but he is getting there. ( Read More…)

The Cincinnati Bengals improved their team in the offseason, but the kicking game is a huge question mark.
The Bengals let veteran kicker Shayne Graham take a walk, and he ended up signing with Baltimore.
Cincinnati wasn’t all that happy with Graham’s disappointing numbers last year and dismal playoff performance.
They also weren’t looking to pay him the kind of money he was looking for, so they decided to go a different route.
The team will have a training camp competition between Mike Nugent and Dave Rayner, which is unsettling to say the least.

It won’t be easy for the Cincinnati Bengals to duplicate their success from 2009.
The National Football League has revealed game times and dates for the 2010 season. Cincinnati, which won the AFC North last season, will play on prime time three times during a schedule that ranks fourth-toughest in the league.
A visit to always-tough New England kicks off the season Sept. 12. The home opener is a week later against Baltimore, a wild-card qualifier last season. Two road games in a row are next, at Carolina and at Cleveland, before a home game Oct. 10 vs. Tampa Bay.
The bye is Oct. 17, followed by a road game at Atlanta. Cincinnati then returns home for two home games, against Miami and then a Monday Night Football matchup with Pittsburgh Nov. 8. Six days later, the Bengals travel to AFC champion Indianapolis, then return home to face Buffalo.
On Thanksgiving Night, four days after the Buffalo game, the Bengals travel to face the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. December opens with a visit from defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans. Cincinnati travels to Pittsburgh on Dec. 12, comes back home for games against Cleveland and San Diego, and wraps up the regular season Jan. 2 at Baltimore.
